This is the best coffee brewer ever! I love it! I am the only one in my family who drinks coffe so I love the fact that I can brew a pot in the morning and get a cup two hours later that is still steaming hot without having a burned taste to it! Get this coffee pot!

This is our second Bunn brewer; the first one lasted almost 9 years. We did a lot of shopping before purchasing this pot – thinking that other companies may have improved their coffee pots in the past 9 years. There were a few advancements, but nothing compares to a Bunn for consistent quality, speed, and quiet brewing. We love the thermal carafe because we can brew a pot of coffee and take the pot out on the deck or wherever we happen to be working. The coffee stays hot without tasting scorched or muddy. We also love the sleek new design!
Excellent coffee maker. Bunn is the best at doing quick coffee and keeping it fresh for hours without boiling it to death. The thermal carafe is great ! We recommend Bunn for their coffee makers and their service.
This is the fourth Bunn I have purchased. No one has a maker that produces as consistantly good coffee as Bunn so I make no comments on the function of the maker….its great. The STX has a few features that I like compared to my prior Bunns. The metal base gives the unit a more substatial feel than the B models, which by comparison felt flimsy. The location of the on/off switch for vacations on the back as opposed to the side of the maker keeps it out of sight and avoids inadvertant switching during normal handling. The swivel top for introducing water is a major improvement over the flip up tops of previous models. It allows you to put water in while the majority of the maker is under a cabinet The older flip up models reqired another 4 to 5 inches of clearance below the cabinet so you typically had to pull them out to put water in. The only change that I dislike is in the carafe. The taller carafe has a smaller top (opening) and for those like me with big hands you can not get down inside it to clean.
It has been some years since I owned a Bunn. It has been too long. This machine is excellent! Coffee is hot, fast and good. No complaints whatever. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good coffeemaker.

I have little patience and don’t pour too fast for this or invert it. The pour rate is fine. The only way I can see to make it come out of the vent hole is to invert it-nearly upside down. And as to getting the last coffee out, I have no problem. You do have to continue raising the opposite end of the pot to above the lip, but if you do, it all comes out. The carafe quality is solid and it won’t break. It insulates well and if I leave a 1/2 pot until the next day, it is not hot, but it is still warm. It is still drinking temp for me in the late afternoon/evening. It still has the same rich flavor it had when I first made it, not burnt beyond drinking like it is on a warmer plate afetr an hour. I can nuke it inthe microwave if needed to raise the temp, but I don’t like it too hot to drink, so it’s usually fine. Bottom line if you want a really good restaurant quality brew from a machine that seems like it will last a decade or more and don’t mind buying a little extra coffee and bunn brand filters, and don’t mind waiting 3 minutes for your brew without an automatic timer, this is a great machine. Now whether one of the other similar bunn ones that were a few dollars less were as good, I think they might be. But I’m happy with my purchase for a few dollars more and over the many years I plan to use it, it is not significant.
