This pot set is beautiful, well-crafted, and functional. I have wanted to switch over to stainless steal and/or aluminum because of the research that has shown teflon cookware leaches dangerous chemicals into food (don’t buy non-stick cookware!–see the Environmental Protection Agency’s official statement on Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA) and Fluorinated Telomers that are found in non-stick cookware and products at [...]). I was leery about how much cleaning would be involved in changing from non-stick cookware, but I was extremely surprised and pleased. I cooked rice in one of the pots, which typically leaves tough residue. It took no more time to clean these pots. I made breakfast in one of the skillet and again, clean-up was a breeze. I don’t have a dishwasher, so I can’t speak about that, but they are dishwasher-safe. I use wooden spoons and spatulas, but the product information states that minor scratches from using stainless-steal utensils won’t harm the integrity of the product. In all, I highly recommend these pots and pans. They have some great features (great lid-vacuum seal, the ability to go in the oven up to 500F, and FAST heating), they are easy to clean, and they look so wonderful hanging in my kitchen’s pot rack! Highly recommend.

After using teflon coated cookware for years, it is a pleasure to get back to basics. Not only does the food taste better, the joy of cooking has returned. Cleanup is a snap as nothing seems to stick!
Cuisinart has always been a favorite brand of mine. These pots are top quality stainless steel and are a pleasure to cook with. I did find that the handles heated up a bit when cooking, but overall I’m really happy with our choice and would get them again. Also I have to this product which is AMAZING for keeping your pots and pans clean. I was hesitant about purchasing stainless steel cookware (over non-stick) because I know food catches a lot quicker and they do get marked easily, but Bar Keepers Friend gets all the marks off easily without scratching. If you’re going to invest in these pans I’d highly recommend forking out the extra $3 and buying a container of this stuff. It takes the hard work out of cleaning up. These are beautiful pans/pots. They work very well and are very high quality! Love the fact that I finally have some stainless steel pans, insead of the teflon non-stick ones that have been discovered to leave harmful, damaging chemicals in your food!Get the stainless! Make sure you follow the cleaning instructions and your pans will stay bright and beautiful!
Best cookware we’ve ever owned. Looks very nice and performs as well. Seems to heat stuff twice as fast as any of our other cookware. Is a pain to clean sometimes though.
I have had these pans for about a month now and have really given them a workout. They heat very evenly and quickly and the handles on the pans stay very cool- even at high temperatures. I did not find the handles on the lids to become overly hot either (although they did become a bit on the warm side when used for long periods of time- might want to keep a pot holder handy just in case). I found them easy to clean and they become shiny and wonderful all over again. I got a little gunk left on the bottom from blackened fish but the stainless pot cleaner took it right off and back to shiny again. I would definetly invest in some of this to keep things nice looking. Feels very sturdy and have a nice weight to them. I am not terribly strong in the hands/wrists but do not find the weight to be a problem. I am so happy with this set. My previous pots (Circulon) were lovely, but the non-stick finish is peeling off and it was time for a step up. A great buy!
